Sid White-Jones is a lens-based artist from Cambridge, United Kingdom, who reconstructs discarded photographic media into weathered memorials of both lived and anticipated loss through intricate celluloid collage.
White-Jones graduated with First Class Honours in BA Photography from Norwich University of the Arts and has since exhibited at venues including Kettle’s Yard, OUTPOST, Ruskin Gallery, David Parr House, Motion Sickness Project Space and Cambridge Artworks, with work published by Der Greif, Plaintiff Press, Uncertain States, ICBQ, Art UK and Folium Publishing.
He has curated contemporary exhibitions at Kettle’s Yard, Babylon ARTS, and Norwich Shoe Factory, and is currently an active member of the British Art Network, OUTPOST and Working Class Creatives. He has previously been a resident artist with AA2A at Cambridge School of Art.
