Wilde Aparthotels opened its doors in Cambridge in August 2025, comprising 227 studio and one-bedroom apartments, an all-day café bar, outdoor terrace, fitness room, and on-site shop. Designed by London-based studio Thurstan, the public spaces take inspiration from both the brand’s muse, Oscar Wilde, and Cambridge’s academic heritage, with rich woods, brass accents, and tactile textures.
The aparthotel also features works by local artists, with the ground floor exclusively celebrating artists who are current or former residents of the city.

The display was curated by SUPERFICIAL, an agency founded by Mariana Baião Santos and Eleanor JS, who are driven by a desire to create new opportunities for artists by connecting them with clients excited by their work through art collections, bespoke commissions, and wider collaborations.
